Distributed SQL Summit 2024: Postgres Without Limits

We are excited to announce that registration is open for our sixth annual Distributed SQL Summit (DSS) taking place on November 12th.
We’re going hybrid this year, so you can either join us in person at our co-located KubeCon event, or virtually (from anywhere in the world).
This free event gives the distributed SQL community, customers, partners, and industry thought leaders a forum to explore how they can use distributed SQL to eliminate complexity and embrace a modern data ecosystem.
This year’s theme “Postgres Without Limits,” showcases the opportunities companies can unlock with database modernization and transformation, and the value of embracing a cloud-native, PostgreSQL-compatible distributed database when building or modernizing critical applications.
DSS attendees can participate in cutting-edge sessions, demonstrations, and interactive workshops designed to explore use cases, technologies, and practices. The event is particularly relevant for data architects, developers, and database practitioners.
2024 Keynote
Yugabyte co-founder and co-CEO Karthik Ranganathan will present this year’s keynote, “Harnessing Cloud Native Power With PostgreSQL” where he will share updates on the company’s vision and roadmap for PostgreSQL-compatibility initially introduced last year, and discuss the exciting new features and functions included in the recent major release, YugabyteDB 2024.1.
Industry Leaders at Distributed SQL Summit 2022
Join technology leaders and database practitioners from some of the world’s leading companies as they share how YugabyteDB helped them overcome the restrictions of their legacy database systems and positioned them for success.
Jake Roersma, Senior Vice President of Platform Engineering at Netskope will present the customer keynote session and share his experience of building critical data infrastructure for modern cloud-native cybersecurity.
